Meson: A light simple little player.

Meson Player is a very convenient music player if you don’t need any flashy GUI to control playback or manage playlists.

You just run it and then forget about it. The player is running in the background.

Switching tracks, volume control, loading and saving playlists, all of this performed by using hotkeys.

Therefore, you can control the player while working in any application.

Gen: This is great for people (like me) who use their computers for work. You can access files, folders or playlists. Sits in the taskbar and plays in the background. Non-obtrusive.

Havilah: If you’re working at night, it’s a better option than leaving the television on for background noise. Music is much nicer.

Gen: Also good if you do your shopping online.

Havilah: Oh yeah. (I shop online.) Holiday music!

Gen: It takes up like zero resources. So light. Easy to use. Runs on Windows, Mac and Linux. Nice.

Havilah: Simple to download, simple to install, simple to use. Even non-techy people can use this thing. (I can use it, so can you!)

Meson Player supports a lot of music file formats (stream and tracker), Internet radio and playlists management. Windows, Mac OS and Linux are supported.

Supported sound formats:

All platforms: MP3, MP2, MP1, OGG, WAV, AIFF, MO3, IT, XM, S3M, MTM, MOD, UMX, MDZ, S3Z, XMZ, ITZ, AC3, MAC, MPC, MP+, MPP, SPX, TTA, FLAC, FLA, OGA, MIDI, MID, RMI, KAR, WV
