Dunk and Egg: A Game of Thrones Fan Web Series

The pilot episode for a fan web series taking place in the world of “A Song of Ice and Fire” created by a passionate team of GoT fans.

This project is fan made and is not affiliated with HBO or George R.R. Martin. No profit will EVER be made from this project. This series is made by fans, for the fans, and is simply a tribute to Mr. Martin’s world.

From the Kickstarter Project page:

Dunk & Egg is a completely fan-based fictional series based on George R.R. Martin’s short story “The Hedge Knight.” The story takes place 100 years prior to the events of the current HBO’s Game of Thrones events. The tale follows the newly knighted Ser Duncan the Tall and Aegon Targaryan in the early years of their legacy as they struggle for respect and honor. Our labor of love will explore the legend and lore of Martin’s “A Song of Ice and Fire” and will give fans a glimpse into the harsh medieval world of Westeros. This is a series for fans, made by fans.

We have been working extremely hard for several months to complete a pilot for “Dunk and Egg,” and are ready for our biggest undertaking yet…. A battle. As loyal fans, attention to detail is paramount. “We want the battle to feel authentic. We want our viewers to be engaged and experience war within the Game of Thrones universe,” says creator and Executive Producer Chase Boyajian. “To do that we are bringing in some real talent from around the gaming and film industries.” As fans we’re all working for free on this project, and getting realistic armor, costumes, swords, animals, etc. is incredibly expensive. We’ve done as much as we can, now we need your help. You can help us bring this story to life and be a part of something truly amazing. Whether you’re as rich as a Lannister or only have a copper to spare, your pledges will be appreciated and rewarded!
